Chocolate Mug Cake

Ingredients required

  • 3 tbsp all purpose flour / maida
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • Chocolate chunks
  • Salt

Recipe

  1. Take a microwave safe mug.
  2. First, we will mix all the dry ingredients. Add all purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder, pinch of salt. Mix well with a fork.
  3. Now, all the wt ingredients will go in. Add milk, vanilla essence, vegetable oil and mix well again.
  4. Take chocolate and cut into small chunks. Add to the mixture and mix well.
  5. Place mug in the microwave and heat for about 1.5 minutes.
  6. Once done, take the mug out and let it cool for 2–3 minutes. Your mug cake is ready!

Tips

You can use chocolate of your choice; preferably take ~55% dark chocolate.

Do not overheat the cake as it will get too dry of your overheat.

You can use melted butter as well instead of vegetable oil.

Once cake is done, you can sprinkle it with icing sugar or chocolate syrup as desired.
